One of the worst things on earth is
planning an outdoor activity, then finding that your equipment doesn't
work. Your tarp leaks, the stakes don't stay in the ground, the cooler
won't zip closed, or the pockets of your raincoat actually catch the
rain. Your best bet is to try and think of every aspect of your trip
outdoors and try to bring some alternative - it doesn't have to be the best one
- to every piece of equipment.
